NEW CONSTRUCTION & PLUMBING PROJECTS

Professional plumbing for substantial construction work.

AHVEE is a plumbing company. Each project is discussed based on the property, available plans, plumbing requirements, access, and work actually needed.

New construction plumbing

Plumbing rough-ins, domestic water piping, DWV piping, fixture plumbing, and appropriate final connections for suitable new construction projects.

New bathroom plumbing

Toilet, vanity, sink, shower, tub, valve, domestic water, and DWV plumbing within an approved construction scope.

New kitchen plumbing

Sink, faucet, domestic water and drain piping, and appropriate dishwasher plumbing connections for planned construction work.

Laundry plumbing

Laundry boxes, washer supplies, drain piping, and appropriate relocation or addition of laundry plumbing.

Additions and relocations

Plumbing for additions and alterations, including water piping, drainage, venting, access, and layout considerations.

Fixture and final connections

Appropriate fixture plumbing and final plumbing connections within a clearly defined construction scope.

ROUGH-IN PLUMBING

Piping installed before walls and finishes are completed.

Rough-in may include appropriate hot and cold water-distribution piping and drain/waste/vent piping routed for the approved fixture layout. The exact work depends on the plans, existing conditions, access, and project scope.

  • Water-distribution piping
  • Drain/waste/vent piping
  • Fixture and valve locations
  • Plumbing access considerations

FINISH PLUMBING

Appropriate fixtures and final plumbing connections.

Finish plumbing may involve connecting or installing appropriate plumbing fixtures and completing accessible final connections associated with the approved scope. Fixture supply is not automatically included in every project.

  • Plumbing fixture connections
  • Faucets and appropriate valves
  • Toilet, vanity, and sink plumbing
  • Approved final plumbing work

NEW BATHROOM PLUMBING

Plan the plumbing behind each fixture.

New bathroom plumbing may involve the toilet, vanity and sink, shower or tub, shower valve, domestic hot and cold water piping, and DWV requirements. Fixture selections can affect connection and rough-in requirements.

AHVEE performs the approved plumbing scope only. AHVEE does not provide tile, flooring, painting, electrical work, cabinetry, carpentry, drywall, or complete bathroom remodeling.

NEW KITCHEN PLUMBING

Coordinate sink, faucet, water, and drainage needs.

New kitchen plumbing may include sink and faucet connections, domestic water and drain piping, and appropriate dishwasher plumbing connections. Existing piping, planned cabinet layout, fixture selection, and access can influence the plumbing work.

LAUNDRY PROJECTS

Water supply and drainage for the planned location.

Laundry plumbing may include outlet boxes, washer water supplies, drain piping, and appropriate relocation. AHVEE does not represent appliance electrical work as part of this plumbing service.

PLUMBING RELOCATION

Moving a fixture can affect more than the visible fixture.

A proposed relocation may change water piping, drain piping, venting, access, and the route through the structure. Existing plumbing, framing and layout constraints, fixture requirements, and local requirements all matter.

Not every fixture can be moved to every desired location. AHVEE reviews the plumbing considerations before defining an approved scope.

BEFORE WALLS CLOSE

Make important plumbing decisions during the rough-in stage.

Early coordination creates an opportunity to confirm fixture locations, valve placement, water-line routing, DWV routing, equipment locations, and appropriate future service access before finishes limit the available options.

This planning should stay connected to the actual plumbing scope and overall project schedule.

Coordinate the plumbing layout early.

Clear decisions help the plumbing work align with selected fixtures, available access, and the approved project plan.

PLUMBING-SCOPE COORDINATION

Communication about AHVEE's plumbing work and schedule.

Construction plumbing may require coordination with the homeowner, property owner, general contractor, other trades, wall or floor access, fixture selections, equipment locations, and the larger project schedule.

AHVEE coordinates and communicates about its plumbing requirements and progress. AHVEE does not manage or supervise other trades and is not the general contractor.
